3D Scanning Services
If you are using 3D printing, it is highly likely that you will be using 3D scanning too. But what is 3D scanning used for? 3D scanning takes the original part, and converts it into a precise and detailed 3D model version. This model can be printed in various materials that can be used as spares/duplicates of the original part. It can be used to perform many different processes, including reverse engineering, tool making, and mould making.
3D Design Services
Although many of our clients will already have a 3D digital file before investing in 3D printing services, we understand that some businesses and firms will not have the time/team/technology to source one. 3D printing requires a digital file to work from, but if you don’t have one, there is no need to worry. We’ve got a team of specialist designers who will work with you directly. This ensures you are getting an exact idea of what you are looking for, before creating a digital design for you. Once you have made any amendments needed, we can send it off to our 3D printing team.
With a fully equipped suite of the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery, here at Systems 3D, we are able to offer a selection of different CNC services. These include:
CNC Routing. Our CNC routing machines will cut wood, plastic, and other materials to make many different products. For example, signs and cabinets.
CNC Plasma Cutting. An incredibly accurate process that uses plasma operations to cut through metals and alloys, leading to the production of complex 2D shapes.
CNC Milling and Turning. Often as cost-effective and as efficient as 3D printing, our CNC milling and CNC turning is an incredibly fast service. We’ll use your CAD data to machine a metal component that is perfect for your requirements.
We also put a lot of emphasis on the post process of your project, if required to do so. Whether it’s metal, alloy, wood, or plastic, our selection of finishing processes can be used to add that final touch to your part. Some of the most popular post processes for 3D systems include, polishing chroming, anodising, plating, and power painting.
Another popular finishing process that is used here at Systems 3D is Vibratory Finishing. Using vibratory machines, we’ll create a smooth or textured finish on the surface of the object. With plenty of different media kernels, we can obtain various finish goals. The machines can also be used for deburring, smoothing, polishing, and grease removal.
Upload your 3D files to our Portal – with all the necessary specifications for the part. When it’s time to supply the component, order it with us and we’ll label and package it. Finally, we’ll send it off to the required delivery address – as if it has come directly from your own warehouse.
