Systems 3D is a leading Midlands metal fabrication company that specialise in advanced metal 3D printing services. Using the latest state-of-the-art 3D printing equipment, we can create products from additive manufacturing for both industrial and end user/consumer applications. With over fifteen years of experience under our belts, we’re proud to have the tools, skills and knowledge to create both 3D and 2D solutions for a wide range of purposes and applications.

What is metal 3D printing?

Metal 3D printing is a service that we offer our customers in order to create fully functioning 3D components. SLM stands for Selective Laser Melting, and is a subcategory of SLS – Selective Laser Sintering. The process is different from the latter, due to the fact that SLM completely melts the metal powder into a solid 3D object, and SLS doesn’t. Using incredibly powerful lasers, we fuse the metallic powders together with SLM 3D printing technology. This process has the ability to completely melt the metal into a solid – which means it can be used to create a wide scope of products and parts.

Metal 3D Printing Services – What can we do?

Over the years, we’ve established ourselves as experts in 3D printing and scanning, and with our metal 3D printing services¬†we can create an extensive range of metal parts such as lightweight components, die-casting moulds, and injection mould inserts. We strive to accommodate as many different requirements as we can, and with a team of expert technicians we can work with small to mid quantity production lines as well as large scale batches of components.
